Zone 3 -This is very similar to my back garden. Tough perennials that split easily and reward you with growing even better afterwards. Purple Coneflower, Rudbeckia, Becky Daisies. Can't go wrong with these in Zone 5 Foxglove & Astilbe located in front side garden..also easy growers. Adding Hollyhocks this year! Can't wait!
Garden : Okay, All I want is a Pergola with some shade (wisteria would work beautifully), a fountain, a fireplace or built in pit, a swing, a place to grow roses, an area for raised gardening beds, a lovely arch with a gate and some climbing Eden roses, a peach tree, a lilac bush, some hydrangeas, a built-in BBQ an area to sit with a glass of wine or eat....is that asking so much?!!!
