Good Morning Green Drink: 2 C Spinach 1 1/2 C Grapes 2 Carrots 1/2 Cucumber 1/2″ piece of ginger 1 Stalk Celery 2 Dates Handful Ice 1/2 to 1 C Water Combine all ingredients in blender or vitamix. Start with 1/2 cup water and add more to desired thickness. Blend until smooth. Need to invest in a great blender so I can try this recipe out!

How to make a fruit smoothie 4 different ways: Basis: 2 cups water, 2 cups fruit. Make it green: 2 cups greens. To complete: 1 cup oats. Extra's: 1/4 cup seeds or nuts (optional), 1/4 cup dried fruits (optional) (serves 2)
Chocolate Kale Smoothie 16 oz almond milk ¾ cup frozen blueberries 2 bananas, peeled and frozen 1 T. honey ¼ t. vanilla extract 1 ½ T. soy protein powder (optional) 1 T. unsweetened cocoa, sifted 1 ½ cups fresh kale, washed and torn into large pieces Combine all ingredients in blender and process until smooth. Pour into glasses or mugs and sprinkle with sifted cocoa. Serves 2-3.
