Characters for an Epic Tale - I like the idea of using this as an adjective lesson. Provide an example for kiddos, then have them create their own using adjectival phrases to describe the characters. Don't use this one in the class tho, a few questionable types!

The kids got masks & surgical gloves and then went to town with their scalpels {scissors} cutting apart words and then bandaging new words {contractions} together. We have used a black pen to outline drawings before they paint them with watercolors, but we have never tried using black glue. Like the added texture.
