LOVE! Ernest Hemingway's first wife Hadley and their life in Paris, hanging out with Scott Fitzgerald and Gertrude Stein. My book club pick for this year! If you liked the movie Midnight in Paris, you will love this book. It started my love affair with the history of Paris in the 20s.

Not only can you get your literary passport stamped twice with Hemingway's romp through Paris and Pamplona, but you can enjoy an immersive mood piece about the highs and lows of drunken, rambling youth.

The Paris Wife- just finished this book--makes me want to read Hemingway all over again!

I was unprepared for the visceral sex scenes in this book, but the characterization and plot made it a compelling read. The author has a very distant, dry writing style which may not appeal to every reader. I cried more than once while reading it, however, so his style did not prevent me from empathizing with his characters.

The After Wife...haven't read any of her other books, but now I want to! This was a great read!!!

Percy Jackson series - Rick Riordan. I don't care if its for kids, it was great!

Good book. I like her writing style. A book of many pages that did not feel long.
