I know most everyone these days dislikes winter, but for me it has always been the most magical time of the year. You can hear, see, smell, and taste more in the crisp winter air; also, I love coming inside from the cold to warm up.

I didn't see it snow in Montreal but having seen this photo I wish I did. I've only witnessed the 'dead season'. Both times. Strolling through white powder would've made the extreme cold just that little bit more bareable.
