Elegant Congratulations-Paper Crafts Color Inspiration #3 by Cards by Diana, via Flickr

By Donna Mikasa. Stamp background text with a soft ink. For the flower, use a stamp with a lot of negative space. Ink with VersaMark & stamp onto background. Emboss in clear. Sponge bundled sage onto leaf areas and light pink onto flower areas. Then add some darker pinks to parts of the flowers and peeled paint to parts of the leaves. With wet paintbrush, blend the pink inks & then the green inks. Cut mat to size & attach to card base. Add embellishments & sentiment.

Pink and Pearls on a card...how pretty...need to make these...

Eileen's "Stampin' Fever" Blog: Latenight Stamper Challenge

I really like the layout of this card. I actually think there are 2 focal points... the sentiment because it's on the bright white (which stands out) and the ribbon with flower and pearl hat pin because it is put up against the white so that makes it pop. so beautiful. the border at the bottom of the card is lovely too!

pin flowers or glue to any flat surface/canvas block... add wording, name, quote, etc.
