    If they had ruins close to where I lived, that's where I'd get married; in the vine covered ruins of an old church or castle (preferably a church). Besides for it being beautiful, there is something to be said for the symbolism behind starting a new chapter in you life surrounded by the remains of something that has withstood the elements and time over generations.
