Love the hanging buckets for small stuff like receipts, coupons, markers etc. blog writer suggested it'd be cute to use the house number on these as a graphic element.

IKEA Hack: DIY Command Center with Storage and Chalkboard. Definitely gonna have some serious organization in my house :)

greate combination of grey, white, dark floorboards, some use of wood and steel for furniture - just missing splashes of colour

*DONE* (I sewed four bags [used one fat quarter for each bag, CHEAP!] and hung them on hooks, above that I painted four small wood 'plaques' [JoAnn's... also CHEAP, I think .79 each?] with chalkboard paint. Right now three have kids names and one is a random Put Me Away bag.)Must find bags or bins for kids things like this. Great idea...

inspiration: family command center - this is SO much cuter than a big ugly white board

A family command center like this makes it so easy to stay organized. Add papers to your AboutOne account as they come in, and you won't have to clutter up your boxes with every piece of paper you have ever received!

This is a great idea from Iron & Twine. It actually started as three Expedit shelving units from IKEA but when turned on its side, it offers a great storage and organization center that makes a perfect command station.

I like these too. Maybe only do 3 of them . . . ACT, FILE, USE Then each business would have a folder in each basket.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the old fashioned look of the flooring and Island/seats. Whitewashed cabinetry, marble countertops, and a generous island make this southern kitchen functional and charming. Don’t forget to accessorize the walls of your kitchen as you would your dining room―a mantel-like oven hood is a great place to start. (Photo: Laurey W. Glenn)
