This is so true and a lot of parents don't realize this. Even when they are little, they know whether they are a priority or not. I will always have a listening ear for my baby girl. The little things matter too, sometimes just as much as the big stuff. Being a parent is the most important job one could ever have, and unfortunately, if you don't do your job well, there is no turning back.
Take personal responsibility for your wrong doings. If you know, for instance, that your actions or words have hurt someone, you need to admit your faults and face the reality of your actions. An apology is the super glue of lasting relationships. It can repair just about anything. Never ruin a relationship with an excuse or denial instead of simply apologizing.
