Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Peppers In this recipes defense, the filling did taste GREAT! However, the recipe didn't specify to pre-cook the bell peppers. I was wondering about this before, but I followed the recipe. IF I ever try this again, I would pre-bake the peppers until tender. Once you stuff them and put them in the oven, they are browned and ready way before the peppers are tender.

    I make a stuffed pepper that tells you to boil the peppers for 3-5 minutes each before stuffing and putting in the oven. I think I am going to try that today with these!
