    Family tradition for the new year... New Year Interviews! Get them on video at every age, have them sing their favorite song, say a poem, talk about their favorite things, favorite colors, favorite etc.... LOVE this idea for capturing memories / moments!

a great way to teach your kids how to spell their name (2-4 year olds) :) Beginning of the year. We did this with first and last name. I call them name puzzles

{Must-Have Educational Apps} Do you have an iPhone or iPad? I would argue your iPhone is much like your TV set, you can use it for good or evil. Sure Angry Birds will keep your child entertained, one could even stretch it and say “they are learning about geometry.” Still, there are much better educational apps out there for your iPhone or iPad that will actually make learning FUN. Check it out.

i might like this idea even better! kiddos write their name on chalkboard, take picture on first day of school... maybe again at christmas time... and the last day of school. it would be stinkin' cute.
