I think I'd rather do it positively rather than negatively, but still a good idea. This is a great idea!!! Do everything without whining, complaining or arguing. Every one has their own jar. Start off the week with a set amount of quarters in each jar. If they are caught whining or complaining, they lose a quarter. At the end of the week, they get the money that remains. Better than allowance!!! So smart and such a good lesson! Use later!!

Do Everything Without Whining, Complaining or Arguing Jar - "Every one has their own jar. Start off the week with a set amount of quarters in each jar. If they are caught whining or complaining, they lose a quarter and their sibling gets it. If they argue, they each lose one and mom gets them. At the end of the week, they get the money that's left or you could put it towards an activity." #parenting #kids #discipline #stopcomplaining #stopwhining

Idea: Do everything without whining, complaining or arguing. Wouldn't use the quarter idea but a complaining whining jar, I'll have to come up with some idea. Every one has their own jar. Start off the week with a set amount of quarters in each jar. If they are caught whining or complaining, they lose a quarter. At the end of the week, they get the money that remains.
