finger paint: 1/4 c cornstarch 1/4 tsp salt 1 1/2 Tbsp sugar 1 c cold water Food coloring 1. Mix cornstarch, salt, sugar, and water in pot. Cook over low heat for about 10 min, stirring constantly. 2. The mixture will start thin, but eventually thicken. When it does, remove from heat and let it cool. 3. Once cool, divide it into small containers and add a few drops of food coloring to each. Homemade finger paints...kind of a tricky recipe. You have to get the measurements JUST right or it will be too thick or too watery. Also, you have to ad a TON of food coloring. Ruby still liked it, and if you don't have any finger paint, its a cheap way to get some fast!
