I'm not sure how this tastes, but I LOVE the look of it! :-) Crown Jewel Cake. This cake is based on a recipe that ran on the back of Jello boxes in the 1950's. The original graham cracker crust has been replaced with red velvet sponge cake, and the 'dream whip' surrounding the cubed gelatin has been replaced with real whipped creme...fun and yummy!

Jello-parfaits. Thinking of doing this for Paetyn's birthday treats at school in lieu of cupcakes (kids that can't have wheat in her class...)

My mom always made Jello with bananas and walnuts. I loved it!

Drain juice from a can of Sliced Pineapple, replace with jello made with 1/2 of the water required on pkg. Chill until set. Run hot water on can sides & bottom to loosen. Cut bottom from can to punch mold out. Cut between pineapple slices & serve.

Jello Frosting: Such an easy and delicious frosting! 3 ounce pkg. of Jello (favorite flavor) 2/3 cup granulated sugar 1 egg white 1 teaspoon vanilla Place the above ingredients in a large GLASS OR METAL mixing bowl (OF A STAND MIXER). Turn the mixer on high just as you add cup of boiling water. Whip on high for five minutes and VOIL!!! .

When I saw this Christmas jello, I thought that the recipe is hard to do. Finally after reading this article, I wanted to try this original desert who is easy to do with simple ingredients.
