Something Borrowed

Something borrowed by Emily GIFFIN. Chick lit: Very good book (Not the same thing about the movie.except for Ginnifer Goodwin she can do no wrong :D )

A Child Called It: I have no idea HOW I made it through this book. It was incredibly rough and could only read it in small doses. This was required reading for my minor in Child & Family Studies and my Abuse Against Women and Children course. IDK if I could've read it of my own free will.

A Child Called It | Dave Pelzer New paperback Book pb

This book never fails to make me cry, make me sick to my stomach and want to kill this poor child's mother. But I think everyone should read it, just to know how horrible child abuse is and that these things really happen to innocent children.

The Help by Kathryn Stockett. This book is similar to To Kill a Mockingbird in its theme, but vastly different in plot. I loved the spunk of the characters and the way the story was told.

Such a classic. In our house we love all of Shel Silverstein's books.

Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein, and all of his other children's poetry books. I got this as a birthday present in grade and read the "Sharp-Toothed Snail" poem for a school talent show! The girls love these poems too.
