    I think the spindley frames, in metal, ruin the beachy look of this room. They do not appear to serve sny purpose. The rest of the room is lovely.

In a guest room, the lamp is from the 1950s, the lantern is Moroccan, and the throw was found in a local shop; the molding is original to the house.

Yes. Little boy room minus planes, trains, automobiles, dinosaurs, fire trucks, etc. It is possible to be sweet without being too theme-y.

What a handsome room by Room by T. Keller Donovan. The floors here serve as the "blank canvas" allowing the bold and beautiful blues to really make a statement. Shaw's "Art Reflects You" is an all nylon patterned loop carpet that looks like "woven sisal" but is soft underfoot and has the great sustainability story of having recycled Anso nylon.
