Playroom storage bench, easy to access and easy to clean up!

Ok, I just need to break down and buy this big ol cubbie bookcase from Ikea. It would totally solve our toy storage problems.

Charlie’s room is all about toys and access. I bought that another amazing IKEA Expedit bookshelf (a modern classic, if you ask me) and some nice looking baskets and that is how he manages to play in there and tidy his room almost all by himself at the end of each day.

Furniture: White Rectangular Storage For Toy Place with Wicker Rattan Baskets and White Joy Carpet Tile in Spacious Kids Room Decorations

Storage bed idea. Simon would love to climb up onto his bed, and this way all his toys would have a place, too. The bed rail we have would likely work on the platform bed, too.

Book Storage Lots of great storage ideas using crates! Cut them in half and mount to the wall for book and magazine storage. via I Heart Organizing

How to turn an IKEA Expedit bookcase into an upholstered storage bench - no sewing required!

Great idea for records!! Crate Wall Storage for books: JoAnn's unfinished wooden crates (<$8); Cut crate in half, paint, attach hanging brackets, place something (file folder/poster board/plastic placemat) cut to fit on the bottom to cover the slats. You can use painters tape to create the line to saw -- it'll help in case of any splintering.

I would put these at the bottom of our stairs, on for each child, to put toys and what nots that belong upstairs. They empty out every time they walk up or more realistically when we go up to bed at the days end. Main living area stays clean and each child is responsible for their own stuff.
