Interior Designer and Home of John Saladino's Shaded Secret Garden and features a table made from a 900-year-old Chinese gristmill stone placed on a pedestal. Me: I want an outdoor table like that...thick and heavy and cold, solid stone that will outlive me, and that you have to arrange the rest of the garden around because you'll never move it without a crane or bulldozer. A spot of permanence and long-lasting stability in this hectic world.

olive tree + stone table. I like the stones, too. Gravel can be a good thing.
