Sub Tub... great to have in your classroom to be prepared for when you need a sub. Contains a Welcome Binder explaining the daily schedule, where things are in the room and anything the sub might need like computer log-in codes. Tub also has hanging folders for each day of the week with emergency lesson ideas, great books, games and other activities to do! (I did this several years ago and it made it so very simple when it is a very difficult subject to get a sub. :) )

Build a Sight Word (plus recording sheet)

This is so inspired: teach your kids how to spell with connectable blocks like legos. Learning key skills can be fun! Parents and teachers alike will love this.

Use paint sticks and velcro to make an activity of putting things in order; could also use for an individual schedule for kids with autism-- very portable!
