Pretty side table. Rue Magazine (January 2012 Issue). Photography by John Stoffer. Styling by Alaina Kaczmarski. Brought to you by NBC's American Dream Builders, Hosted by Nate Berkus

I'm in love with this table. Why can't I ever find treasures like this at yard sales and flea markets and thrift shops to remake?

The ultimate luxury in dinning!!! Just give me a table w/ good food surrounded by close family & friends and I'm living luxuriously.

François Halard combined a Moroccan Beni Ouarain rug, Senuto stools, an oversized gilded mirror and some random objets around his clean-lined, low fireplace mantel. The numerous elements feel uncluttered, perhaps because of the absence of color, and clean lines of a fireplace as low as a console table.

Feminine chic, with a vintage touch. Right up my alley. Candlesticks, vintage art/frames, marble lamp-- love seeing these treasures on display. Smart choice using colorful books to brighten the space, and the little brass objects and the ceramic sculpture add charming quirkiness to the vignette.

The branches in the blue & white vase are great & the orange books add some unexpected color, but I feel the lamp is too white against the white chest & the shade is much too dominant.

Antiques & Art-2 of my most favorite things.

Beautiful, elegant and cozy. The simplicity of a quiet boudoir is understated and in today's busy world, unavailable... No one creates sacred spaces for our souls any longer.
