A bit more reminiscing about my trip to CPH 4 yrs. ago. This is Frøsilos (aka "Gemini") by MVRDV (2005). Developers initially intended to convert two concrete grain silos into apartments within the interiors. But the architects determined that the structures weren't stable enough to support all of the holes that would need to be created to do that, so they instead proposed to hang apartments around the exterior.
