[capsule review] End of Watch - A small snapshot of how tough it is to be a cop in the harshest parts of LA. It's not a cop-buddy movie but Gyllenhaal and Pena make a great team that you grow to love. Really heartfelt and gritty. (iPad rental, 2/13/2013)
Went to this on a lark while on vacation in Florida. A perfect kick back and enjoy vaca movie. Julie Roberts, deliciously evil. Lily Collins, a sweet Snow even while welding a sword. And, all seven of the dwarfs are great. The musical dance number at the end of the movie is odd. Testimonial; we had two very young children (booster seat candidates) sitting in front of us and nether made a peep through the whole movie and applauded at the end. That reaction was worth the price of admission.
