~So simple! Layer cheap plastic beads in cake pans (no lining required), melt at 400 for 20 minutes, let cool, & then just flip them out. Drill a hole in it to make it a suncatcher! Great "craft" for kids (choose the colors, arrange them in the pans) to make as gifts for grandparents or teachers. Oooh - could small ones be used as coasters? Look like glass but not breakable!
Oh my goodness, this is adorable! Drill little marble sized holes in the fence, put a little glue on each marble, and shimmy into the hole. This photo is what it looks like on her fence when the sun hits it - so, so pretty!
Panels was the original note with this. Personally, I have nosy ass neighbors, so I would be more likely to use this idea in say....an adirondeck chair... or a bench... or a garden sculpture or something, than a fence where my neighbors are going to use it as a peep hole.
How to transform a fence that's an eyesore into an eye-catching wall garden by grouping small plants inside wall-mounted shadow boxes made from weathered wood scraps. | Photo: Jennifer Cheung | thisoldhouse.com
