Canned Pears - You can also make a syrup with honey if you don't want to use processed sugar. •light - 1 1/2 cups honey to 4 cups water •medium - 2 cups honey to 4 cups water

Canned Pears Tip: If ripe, do a raw pack. If un-ripe, simmer 5 minutes and hot pack. Test of ripeness: if it's ripe enough to eat, it's too ripe for hot pack.
