crock pot recipe, take 1lb chicken (can be frozen), box of stuffing, 1 cup chicken broth, 1 can of cream of chicken, and 1/2 cup of water. layer bottom of crockpot with chicken, poor 1 cup of broth over chicken, mix box of stuffing with can of soup and 1/2 cup water and layer top of chicken with stuffing mix, cook 6-8 hours on low!
Round Steak with Rich Gravy to pour over mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, noodles, etc. Just combine 2 1/2 pounds of round steak, 1 can Golden Mushroom soup, 1 packet onion soup,1/4 cup water. Cook in crockpot for 6-8 hours on low. It's so easy and yummy, the secret ingredient must be magic.
Swiss Steak Supper-Swiss Steak Supper-Swiss Steak Supper.This recipe calls for crock pot.I made it in oven thinking it would be faster, it wasn't be much.I would recommend crock pot.This had good flavor but kids were not crazy about tomatoes.I'm not fond of homestyle gravy out of glass jar.But the italian toms and the fresh parsley were excellent addition.Everything else I would keep the same.I would make again.

Best Corn On The Cob: Fill pot with water then add a stick of salted butter and 1 cup of milk. Bring to a rapid boil. Put ears of corn in turn heat to low simmer for 5-8 minutes. It will be the best corn on the cob you have ever had!!!!
Crockpot collard greens and ham. An excellent choice as a side dish for fried catfish or pulled pork. Also goes well with cornbread to soak up the juices which are called pot likker. When you eat this kind of food, you know you are living!

Buffalo Chicken in the crock pot: 3 lb frozen chicken, 1 bottle buffalo sauce, 1 packet of ranch, throw it all in the crock pot for 6-7 hours, shred. Great for wraps, on a bun or make grilled cheese & buffalo chicken sandwiches (which I prefer). I do recommend adding a bit of butter in the crock pot - either when cooking or after shredding.
