'Along the Sight Lines', Nettie Horn London, 2010 The simulated transparency achieved by painting into the space and its architectural elements, the room looses its material density while the immaterial image of the double-exposure becomes solid through the rebuilt pillars and beams. I'm interested in how software mediates today between lived and represented reality.

In an empty shop a beamer projects the image of that room back into the room. The picture of the space is projected in the same angle from the same position from which the image was taken. Because of the transfer through the lenses of the camera and the projector some inaccuracies occur that lead to the doubling of elements in the space like the heater or the tiles. The room is at the same time image support and subject, original and represention.
