The Architect’s Eye by Speech Tchoban & Kuznetsov | Inspiration Grid | Design Inspiration

  • tugcin candan

Designers Sergei Tschoban and Sergey Kuznetsov designed a sculpture titled The Architect's Eye as part of the Interni Legacy event that was held during Milan Design Week. Constructed from a stainless steel sphere, it features a LED system to create an image of a huge human eyeball that rotates to look at both visitors and the ground. Much like the human eye, the pupil changes size to reflect the changing light throughout the day

The Architect’s Eye by Speech Tchoban & Kuznetsov The Architect’s Eye is a “stainless steel sphere, completely smooth and reflecting, featuring an LED system to create the image of a huge human eyeball that rotates to look to the sky as well as at visitors and the ground. The iris changes color and the pupil increases and decreases in size.” The sculpture was created for this year’s Interni Legacy event at the Università Statale in Milan, in conjunction with Milan Design Week.
