I might do "voice sticks"... different voices we could use while reading the word wall, counting, etc. Voices I used last year were: Man voice, girly voice, pirate voice (say "Arr" after each word), opera voice. Kindergarten Sight Words - print & laminate. An activity to do would be to get clothespins write one letter on each clothespin (some letters you will need more than 1 of - such as 2 e's for "here" or "please"), and then match the clothespins to the letters of each sight word, and then say the sight word
This worksheet is full of sight words. At the top are the sight words for the week/day/month etc. Students have to find those sight words on the page and circle or highlight those words. By using this activity it keeps them familiar with all sight words while looks specifically for the words of the week.
