The Braided Knot: Split hair down the middle like you're going to put it in pigtails. Braid each section back, away from your face. With each braided section in each hand, tie hair in a knot, and pin any loose ends into place with bobby pins.

Great way to make a plain pony stand out. I'll post a tutorial tomorrow here: fittingfashion.wordpress.com/

A go-to ponytail replacement: The braided knot. Split your hair down the middle like you are going to do pigtails. Braid each section back, away from your face. Take each braided section and tie into a knot. Pin into place as well as any loose ends.

Perfect for everyday or even going out!

Quick and easy to do. Love it!

need to try it

It seems pretty easy, but it’s not. Not everyone has long hair that reaches all the way around the head to make a perfect crown of braids. Girls with short hair need braids TOO! Using this technique, you make small, overlapping intersections of braids to create a full crown. Here’s how: go to page for instructions

1. Part your hair down the middle / 2. Make two pigtail braids and secure with an elastic / 3.Take one pigtail and bring to the oposite side, use a bobby pin to secure. / 4. Do the same on the other side, I used four bobby pins to hold the braids in place / 5. Tuck in the ends so they don’t show. // Your finished! // *pull out strands to frame your face before hand!
