Crescent Roll carrots filled w. egg salad for Easter lunch. Wrap crescent rolls around cream horn mold, paint with egg yolk, water and orange coloring mix, bake per pkg directions. Let cool and fill with salad. Insert lettuce leaf for carrot top.
I made these with crescent roll dough. Cut in one inch strips and roll around a cone shape made from Reynolds aluminum and parchment foil. Brush with orange food coloring and bake as directed. Be sparing with the red dye as it will take a lot of yellow to make it orange! Then stuff with egg salad and I used parsley, not dill.
