Rigatoni with Broccoli, Beans and Basil. This was almost bland and dry. I think next time I try it, I will add Pepper Flakes and Parmesan Cheese. Not sure what I can add for moisture, since the pasta water is the only liquid in the dish. I'll keep working with it until I can't fix it!
Garlic Butter Broccoli Broccoli ( fresh or thawed from frozen) 20 oz 2 Tablespoons of Butter or Margarine 1 Clove of Garlic Minced Black Pepper Salt Instructions Cook broccoli in salted boiling water till tender ( about 5 minutes) – drain. In a pan melt butter and add garlic and cook for about 2 minutes + add broccoli and toss. Garnish with pepper.
Broccoli shells and cheese: exceptionally simple and looks tasty. 8 oz. pasta; 1 lg. crown broccoli; ½ med onion; 3 Tbsp butter; 3 Tbsp all-purpose flour; 2.5 cups milk; 8 oz. (2 cups) sharp cheddar, shredded ¼ cup grated parmesan; 1 tsp hot sauce (optional). Fast meal. Vegetarian.
