Surrounded by chairs and popping against the clean white interior, a distressed blue coffee table serves as the focal point of this family room. To make pops of color stand out even more in a neutral room, repeat bright colors only a few times, such as in one or two pieces of artwork or accessories. Okay, this gorgeous rustic coffee table coupled with this sweet color palate almost gives me cavities. I'm not a huge fan of the wall color (screams 90's beach condo to me) but the space as a whole is nothing short of fabulous. The coffee table decor is simple, but the 3 tiered look makes it feel full & perfectly balanced. -Sea
Tied Together Open floor plans present a decorating challenge: balancing the need to unite spaces while giving each zone a distinct vibe. Try tying spaces together with a soft accent color. Here, a soft blue from the living room's ottoman and throw pillows flows perfectly onto the stools lining the kitchen's breakfast bar.
Living Room - The cool blues of this space are quickly warmed up by the bright reds. The corner window enlarges, the cozy cushions invite, and the unique accents lure you to explore their individuality. I am especially in love with the turquoise metal side table and the blue seat with star-shaped wooden back.
