Hawaiian Baked Ham and Swiss Sandwiches - Great. I checked the recipe on the King's Hawaiian website. Changed the sauce up a bit; added some about 1/4 cup of honey and a few table spoons of brown sugar. I also used less butter than it called for. Definitely great for a busy night! May use different cheese next time.

Sweet Potato Sandwich Rolls Ѽ ½ cup milk; 2 tsp instant yeast; 4 TBsp soft butter; 1 tsp salt; 1 large egg; ¾ cup cooked, mashed sweet potato (1 medium); 3¼ - 3½ cups all-purpose flour; Ѽ Topping: 1 large egg beaten +1 TBsp water; ¼ cup sesame seeds (optional)

Uses Hawaiian rolls to make ham and Swiss sliders. Made these last night (4-6-12) and loved the combination of slightly sweet rolls and savory topping! The only thing I'd change is to cook it a little more than the recipe says after you take the foil off. Just be sure the tops are lightly crispy or it's a bit soggy on top (but even then, was delish!).

I've had these before but never made them myself. They are SO yummy and pretty easy to make. I didn't tell the kids there was mustard, just butter, and they gobbled them up. :)

apple pie sandwiches... its like, apple pie and french toast rolled into one.
