I heart this organization of measuring cups and spoons on the inside of a kitchen cabinet accompanied by a conversion chart.

I bet you could do this with existing cutting boards...use a little bit of food-safe stain on your board and seal with mineral oil. I think you'd have to tape your edge off and score the wood a bit to keep the stain from bleeding through. A good experiment at the very least.
