Doo dads snack mix- my favorite. Chex mix can't compare-- why do they stop making all the good stuff?
doo dads...I remember my Aunt held up the box upside down and called them Spap Oops.....still call them that!!!
A great snack mix that people seem to fondly remember is “doo dads”. It was a snack made up of 5 different parts: Toasted peanuts, pretzels, rice squares, wheat squares & cheese Tid-Bit Crackers. Once a snack staple starting in the late 60s, they really became a childhood favorite of everyone in the 70s/80s. As other snacks hit the market, sales slumped. By the late 90s, "doo dads" were gone.
