I have read this book 3 times, that's how much I loved it.

This book is worth reading. I find it to be a little much in some places. A little heavy handed like a baptist minister on sunday morning... but there are truly sublime moments... that make a reflecting pool out of your own soul... and let you study yourself and your beliefs in a different way. -Mel*)

This book was recommended by one of my students. It's not my typical read, but I did find it difficult to put down. Fahrenheit 451 is a dystopian novel which presents a future American society where books are outlawed and firemen burn any house that contains them. By Elizabeth Perez. ' <<< Oh I saw dis at my library! Imma get it along w/ Divergent!

Here’s to books… I've gone a thousand places and been a thousand different people within the pages of a good book - and all for a couple of dollars!

Alice in Wonderland....I have read this book so many's still fun to read...and the whole book's chapters are based on moves in a chess game. The annotated version has many cool side notes about the characters and quotes mentioned in the book, as well, which gives it more depth.
