Hopefully this will help keep fruit and veggies from going bad too early. Smart things here. I have practiced many of these most of my life. I will add Tomatoes. I do not refrigerate them ever. I have a hanging basket in the kitchen for my tomatoes and if I cut it I eat the entire tomato then and there. They act of chilling a whole or cut tomato sucks the flavor away immediately.

Refrigerator Storage Tips>>> PRODUCE -- Keep in perforated (holey) plastic bags in the produce drawer of the refrigerator. Keep fruits & vegetables separate, in different drawers, cause ethylene can build up in the fridge, causing spoilage. HERBS - (& asparagus), snip off the ends, store upright in glass of water (like flowers in a vase) & cover w/ plastic bag.

Just add some chicken in the freezer and a bunch of spices in the cupboard and I'm set... :)
