white cabinets + wood + blue walls - we have wood of about this tone in our living room. It is currently wallpapered a much darker (ie: mid-90's) blue, which we want to change. I was still thinking blue, but lighter, though I didn't know how it would look. I like it!

Neat idea - dog crate with storage on top. Maybe not a giant cupboard, but space for treats and such would be neat.
