Infinity Room by Yayoi Kusama. Kusama uses hundreds of LEDs to create what looks like an endless evening of multi-chromatic fireflies, or a galaxy full of Christmas lights, or a blizzard of glowing snow over a city of skyscrapers. As simple as the effect may be—just mirrors and lights—the photos alone are a hypnotic, ephemeral tease of infinity.
Yes, it seems crazy or totally fictional, the appearance of a cloud in a closed room is possible, thanks to the Dutch artist Berndnaut Smilde! What looks like magic, turns out to be a carefully calculated project made possible by a certain level of humidity, temperature and special lighting. This precise mixture (& the use of a smoke machine) allows the formation of a cloud inside an enclosed space ~ a surreal spectacle!
