Tomato Basil Parmesan Soup - I did this on the stove instead of in a slow cooker. I made quite a few adaptations. I roasted tomatoes with garlic instead of using canned tomatoes. Blended the mix before making the roux (for which I only used 1/4 cup butter and a 1/4 cup flour). Subbed a cup of greek yogurt for the half and half. We also made cheesy toast to go with it.
