Take turns drawing cards out of a container. If you can read the sight word, you keep the card. If not, the card goes back in. The person that collects the most cards wins the game. If you draw a "Bang" card, you must put all your words in the container.
Word Recognition- A bean bag toss for sight words. Use index cards with sight words on them to draw from. Then use chalk to write the sight word on pavement. Ask students to throw bean bag onto the sight word you draw and say aloud.
