Rory's new favorite thing is zebra stripes and leopard spots! This could be her next birthday cake! ZEBRA cake instructions: just color half of white cake batter. Drop 2-3 tbsp of first color into center of cake pan, then do the same with the other color, making concentric circles. Keep layering the colors on top of each other. The batter will spread out on its own but once in a while you might need to tap the pan on the counter to help it along. If you don't get it to spread evenly, it won't bake evenly.

My first official "repin". I haven't even dared to type in "zebra print" yet. ZEBRA cake instructions: just color half of white cake batter. Drop 2-3 tbsp of first color into center of cake pan, then do the same with the other color, making concentric circles. Keep layering the colors on top of each other. The batter will spread out on its own. COOL!

another pinner wrote: ZEBRA CAKE My last cake of 2010..! The lady loved my birthday cake (the leopard print one), but to make it a little different, she ordered it with a Zebra print instead. I loved it...! She also asked me to leave the white buttercream in the background (less fondant), so just the balck stripes, leaves and flowers are fondant this time. White cake with chocolate filling

[recipe] Zebra Bundt Cake: "I love zebra cakes, but I love a zebra bundt cake more. It just seems like less work. No need to cut layers and the frosting is a simple chocolate glaze. However you like or decide to carve your zebra cake, a zebra styling of any sort is pretty much a guaranteed no-fail dress to impress dessert."
