Best Drain Cleaner - tried it, totally works!! vinegar and baking soda best household cleaners Harmony says: seems to work great at least for your general grime and build up not sure it will works on a really clogged drain though
Best (eco-friendly!) drain cleaner: 3/4-1 cup baking soda, 1/2 cup white vinegar. Pour in drain and cover with plug. Let sit 30 minutes, then run hot water through drain for 3-4 minutes. Voila! Clean drain.
This is my favorite way to clean drains...I buy the vinegar and baking soda at costco and it is SO cheap.
from: http://tidymom.net/2011/unclog-drain-with-baking-soda/ Gotta love natural cleaning products
Unclog drain: If you have a moderately clogged drain, try this homemade drain cleaner: Pour 1/2 cup of baking soda down the drain followed by 1/2 cup of vinegar. Be careful. The two ingredients interact with foaming and fumes, so replace the drain cover loosely. Let the concoction set for about three hours before running water. If you know the slow drain is from grease, try this treatment: Pour in 1/2 cup of salt and 1/2 cup of baking soda followed by a teakettle of boiling water. Allow to sit overnight.

Found a winner!!! Homemade plug in air freshener. Use your essential oils. Hello...why didn't I think of this!!! Great idea...I'm going to be happy I pinned this one!!
DIY refills for any plug-in air freshener. Less expensive & better for your health! REPLACE with essential oils, (1/3 to all & rest can be water) leaving room for wick after rinsing. Recommends peppermint because its pretty cheap & it makes my house smell cool and clean, but also recommend orange, lavender, cinnamon, roman chamomile, clary sage, lemon, rose, grapefruit, jasmine or ylang ylang oil.
DIY Wallflower refills. (This may not be cheaper than buying Wallflowers, because it depends upon how much the essential oils cost and how long they last. I will have to do some research on that.)
DIY refills for any plug-in air freshener - replace with essential oils. Less expensive and better for your health!
DIY refills for any plug-in air freshener. Reuse empty bottle and fill 1/3 full with essential oil of your choice. Fill remaining space with water, but do NOT fill completely (leave about 20% free). Mix, plug in, & enjoy.

CLEAN TOILET TANK with Vinegar to REMOVE LIME, CALCIUM and other minerals found in tap water that tend to accumulate and plug up or corrode certain parts in your toilet’s water tank. Pour a bunch of vinegar in the water tank and allow it to sit while you clean the toilet. Then, flush the toilet a couple of times to make sure you get all of the vinegar out of the tank. You don’t want acid corroding . . .

Pour in 1/2 of the vinegar, covering the hole so the fizz is forced down, not up (omit this for toilets, please!). Add the second half of the vinegar, following the same procedure.
