What the Teacher Wants!: Common Core Data Checklists! They have grades K, 1 and 5 posted now - I'm staying tuned for when they put out 3rd grade!

My students LOVE this "Magic Mirror" word hunt game. Pairs work together to find the hidden words (that have letters printed backwards), read them in the reflection of the mirror, and write them down. They take turns with the mirror and the clipboard until all the words have been found, read, and listed. {Creating Readers and Writers Blog Post}
