"Walmart sells flat twin bed sheets in individual packages (meaning without pillowcases and fitted sheets) for a whopping $2.00. There is more than enough fabric to cover the typical bulletin board and they have a surprising assortment of colors." - Awesome to know. I already started using fabric on my bulletin boards this year, so this is a great resource- and way cheaper than buying fabric by the yard.
This is genius: Students "sign out" on a small white board by the door when they leave the classroom so you know at all times who is where! You can make magnetic pictures/words for nurse, library, bathroom, etc.
Restore dry erase boards that are hard to erase: spray a clean board with wd40, wipe dry with paper towels. the wd40 fills in the dried pores of the board that hold in marker ink, making it easier to erase.
For my new teacher friends..this is gold. Do this technique for any procedure, it works! The best "how to" from Fred Jones on establishing rules , procedures and standards in your classroom!---classroom management. Always need something up your sleeve ;)
