A Child Called It: I have no idea HOW I made it through this book. It was incredibly rough and could only read it in small doses. This was required reading for my minor in Child & Family Studies and my Abuse Against Women and Children course. IDK if I could've read it of my own free will.

A Child Called It | Dave Pelzer New paperback Book pb

Janet Evanovich. Two for the Dough.

Two For The Dough

I love all of the Janet Evanovich - Stephanie Plum Books. They are so insane you find yourself laughing out loud in a room all by youself.

The Giver by Lois Lowry::: Someone recc'd this to me - can't remember who or why - but I still want to read it. ~A 5/22/2013 Finished reading this last night. As I said to the person whom I recalled had recc'd it: It truly was an amazing book. Powerful and evocative. In a way, it almost seemed like such a simple story, but what was underneath - what it lead up to...deeply thought provoking.

The Giver (Lois Lowry)- novel takes place in a Utopian society. After his job assignment, the main character, Jonas, learns that sameness and the ideal society isn't so perfect--thanks to the wise giver.

The Giver by Lois Lowry - I believe production has started on a movie version...I love it when my favorite books become movies!

The Giver - Read. I read this when I was in middle school and I didn't like it then. So, I thought, with the movie coming out, I'd give it another shot. Still leaves a bit to be desired, but the dystopian genre always makes me think.

Amazing!! One of the greatest endings I've read!

Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen. A thousand times better than the movie., it's a page turner Worth Reading to Read

Safe HavenSAFE by Sparks, Nicholas
