I love me some burlap in the fall. It brings grit to the foundation of your display and lets the pretty stuff have something to build on.
Simple Burlap Bag ... Yet another use for our painted and stenciled bags (tho' this is unadorned!) ... !!!
Use burlap or felt to make no-sew curtains. Glue the side seams and duct tape the hem. I'm thinking too that this picture would be a great frayed-bottom of a curtain since burlap holds well when ironed. Then hand-stitch in place, and even cover the stitching with ribbon or duct tape.
This romantic Country French Burlap Stocking has a cuff designed with French Shabby “Rustic Toile” in Chestnut and Ivory fabric*. The stocking is lined with unbleached muslin, hangs by a 2” jute trim loop, and is topped with removable raffia. p stockings.
