First Grade and Flip Flops: A New Linky on Classroom Management and Other Things!

When my students follow The Five Bees Promise, they have the opportunity to earn "punches" on their "Good Behavior Golden Tickets" a.k.a. "Punch Cards". When the ticket is full of punches, that little friend can redeem the ticket for any prize found in the Best "Beehavior" Catalog.

We do this in my classroom...the students love to "clip up" and I try to catch them doing something good after the have to "clip down" so they can feel good about their positive choices

I use this in my classroom, but I definitely need to start calling Voice Level 1 "spy talk". It's MUCH cooler than whispering! (If anyone has never heard of this before, I HIGHLY recommend it! It took a couple of weeks for my kids to get the hang of it, but now they ask me what voice level they are allowed to be at for certain activities. It's AMAZING!)

Sub Tub... great to have in your classroom to be prepared for when you need a sub. Contains a Welcome Binder explaining the daily schedule, where things are in the room and anything the sub might need like computer log-in codes. Tub also has hanging folders for each day of the week with emergency lesson ideas, great books, games and other activities to do!
