Bittersweet / Sarah Ockler. Hudson Avery gave up a promising competetive ice skating career after her parents divorced when she was fourteen years old and now spends her time baking cupcakes and helping out in her mother's upstate New York diner, but when she gets a chance at a scholarship and starts coaching the boys' hockey team, she realizes that she is not through with ice skating after all.

I have tried really hard to like her books, but I just can't do it...must be something wrong with me, I know she is really well liked author! Of course I am not a Dickens fan either, lol!

There's nothing wrong with you at all. I've heard the same thing from a few other YA fans. ;)

I liked Beastly, but I didn't like this book, I could hardly finish it. So I think it is some books are good, and some aren't for her. But we all have our opinions so you are right. ☺

I want to read this book for the longest, but I waiting on some money.

The Lost Code (Atlanteans 1) by Kevin Emerson: This book is pretty great. It combines kids that develop gills at summer camp with a dystopian society searching for the lost city of Atlantis. Owen is a fantastic character that you can really cheer for and the author's world-building skills are amazing. Definitely a book for both boys and girls and adults who like a great mystery.
