Start the year with an empty jar and fill it with notes about good things that happen. Then, on New Years Eve, empty it and see what awesome stuff happened that year. Good way to keep things in perspective.

Print pictures on old book pages. Looks amazing.

The Happiness Jar - Transform the Next Year One Moment at a Time

Write down something that made you happy every day for a year, then open the jar and read about all the amazing things that happened.

Married people should still date each other:) Date night jar made with color coded popsicle sticks. Red=$$$ and planning required Pink=minimal $ and spontaneous White=Stay at home date Cute ideas included!!!!! This is one of the best "date jars" I have seen. You can also do this with restaurants in the area for those days when you just can't decide.

I am saving any glass jar we empty. They don't have to be mason jars. I prefer that they don't all look the same. We can use them as vases or lanturns (like this pic)- For more great inspiration visit us at Bride's Book home of the VIB Bridal Club

travel savings jars... cute idea to start beginning of the year and then can put souvenirs in it afterwards

Use Epsom salt as filler in a jar. Place a tealight atop the salt. It will look like a candle sitting in snow . . .

Cutest idea ever!! Anniversary scrapbook! Each year you complete one page for your anniversary. Include things like prices (gas, milk etc.), what you did that year, favorite things, in the news, your ages and the year, weather report, etc. etc.
